Background: Hypoparathyroidism (HP) is characterized by low serum calcium (sCa) and high serum phosphate (sP). Standard of care (SoC), active vitamin D and calcium, raises sCa and sP and increases burden of illness on HP patients by worsening hypercalciuria and the CaxP product.
